Lead Financial Operations That Keep Business Moving

Prince Retail Group is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize our non-trade disbursement operations. This is a leadership opportunity for finance professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about driving process excellence, financial accuracy, and team performance.

You will oversee end-to-end payment operations, ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements, manage month-end closing activities, and lead a high-performing team that supports one of the country's growing retail organizations.

What You'll DoFinancial Management

• Lead the planning and execution of departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.

Accounts Payable & Disbursement Operations

• Manage the accurate and timely processing of:
• Employee cash advances and liquidations
• Supplier advances and reconciliations
• Requests for Payment (RFPs)
• Purchase Order and Non-PO billings
• Oversee month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and retention of financial records.
• Drive continuous improvement in payment processing efficiency and controls.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain data integrity and financial reporting accuracy.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver excellent internal customer service.

What We're Looking ForQualifications

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Commerce, or related field

✔ CPA designation is highly preferred

✔ At least 5 years of accounting or accounts payable experience

✔ Minimum 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory leadership role

✔ Experience in retail, shared services, FMCG, or high-volume transaction environments is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Disbursement processes
• Financial reporting and account reconciliation
• Tax compliance and reporting
• ERP systems experience (NetSuite preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
• Process improvement and internal controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
