Job Description

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Manila Hybrid/Remote

Reporting to: AP Supervisor

Salary: P24,000 - P25,000

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for managing and processing of invoices and ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors. The Accounts Payable Clerk will maintain accurate financial records, assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process incoming invoices from suppliers.
  • Match invoices to Confirmed Booking and Incoming payment/funds from the client (Ivector System).
  • Request to pay the suppliers per terms and maintain company controls
  • Respond to supplier inquiries through calls and emails in a timely manner (within 24hrs)
  • Ensure all Invoice discrepancies are recorded and resolved
  • Ensure all payments are made in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Perform Statement reconciliations
  • Analyze Open Credits and ensure recovery
  • Assist with other accounts payable responsibilities
  • Assist with G/L sub-ledger reconciliations.
  • Uses various software applications, such as SAP and iVector Reservation system
  • Work with other departments and within the other responsibilities in Accounts to ensure accurate recording and control of the company's finances and information.
  • Maintain and update vendor records in the accounting system.
  • Help with month end responsibilities
  • Consistently improve the efficiency of the department.
  • Submission of Financial Report related to aging

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge in accounting entries and principles
  • Detail oriented, team player with a customer focus
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel would be an asset
  • Uses initiative and has creative thinking for problem solving
  • The ability to lead process improvement is an advantage
  • Experience with accounting and reservation systems
  • Has a positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Comfortable working in Night Shift
