Accounts Payable Associate

Overview of the role but not limited to:

• Accurately process and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review invoice details and coordinate with vendors or internal teams to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account status through email and phone support.
• Investigate and resolve issues including missing invoices, payment delays, and transaction discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the AP Australia team to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain records of helpdesk interactions, inquiries, and resolutions for audit and reporting purposes.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or management when necessary.
• Assist in vendor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal financial controls.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Alabang.
