About the role

The Accounts Payable Analyst supports day-to-day Accounts Payable operations for PH and US entities, with a primary focus on accurate and timely invoice processing. This role serves as a flexible resource across both regions based on invoice volume, workload, and business priorities, while also supporting payment activities, general ledger tasks, month-end close, account reconciliations, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and validate supplier invoices for PH and US entities accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, proper approvals, supporting documents, and correct accounting information.
  • Perform invoice entry and validation in applicable Accounts Payable systems.
  • Identify duplicate invoices, incorrect information, and other invoice exceptions before posting.
  • Coordinate with vendors, business stakeholders, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve invoice-related issues.
  • Monitor pending, parked, or rejected invoices and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Support vendor statement reconciliation and investigate outstanding or missing invoices.
  • Assist in monitoring Accounts Payable aging and long-outstanding invoice items.
  • Support month-end activities by ensuring invoices are processed timely and helping minimise unnecessary accruals.
  • Provide flexible invoice-processing support between PH and US operations based on volume and capacity.
  • Prepare accruals and prepayments as required.
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and analytical reports through the OneStream system.
  • Participate in month-end close activities.
  • Maintain accurate processing trackers and provide productivity or status reports as required.
  • Support process improvements, automation, process migration, and other Accounts Payable initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and established Accounts Payable procedures.
  • Prepare accounts, journal entries, analyses, and reports using a systematic and detailed approach.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, including Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, preferably in a Shared Services or BPO environment.
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
  • A recognised professional Finance or Accounting qualification is also valued.
  • Experience working with an automated accounting system.
  • Experience with Microsoft DAX, Oracle, or SAP is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous.
  • Experience handling projects or process migration is preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong business relationships and work cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • A positive, self-directed approach and the ability to manage change and support process improvement as the business grows.
  • A strong commitment to compliance with policies and internal controls.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed during peak periods.
  • A customer-focused approach and commitment to quality service for internal clients.
  • Willingness to identify continuous improvement opportunities, challenge the status quo, and support improved accounting processes and controls.
  • Core capabilities in driving results, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity.
