Your Role:
We're looking for an Accounts Payable & Analytics Officer who enjoys keeping the numbers clean and using data to make things better.
This role goes beyond processing invoices. You'll play a key part in:
- Managing supplier payments accurately and on time
- Tracking costs and spend
- Turning financial data into clear, useful insights for decision-
making
If you're detail-driven, organised, and like spotting patterns in numbers, this role will suit you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner according to company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors via checks, bank transfers, or other payment methods.
- Maintain AP records, reconcile supplier statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts payable aging, cash flow requirements, and vendor performance.
- Analyze AP data to identify trends, potential cost savings, and process inefficiencies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
Assist in developing dashboards and KPIs to track AP
performance and financial metrics.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track costs, spend trends
- Input and update KPI trackers maintained for finance and business reports
- Ensure timely production of monthly or quarterly reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate data
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Sheets, or BI tools)
- Assist management with data-driven insights
What You Need:Non-negotiables
- Xero Experience
- Experience in accounts payable or finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confidence working with numbers, spreadsheets, and reports
- Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience working with offshore companies.
- Industry not majorly relevant but anyone who has worked in an online technology based industry with systems and large volumes of data would be preferable
- Ability to analyse data and explain findings clearly
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and spoken English
