Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Officer role based in Iloilo. The Accounts Officer will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role involves assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Accounts Officer will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing or account issues, ensure timely payments, and support cash flow management. The role also includes preparing reports and analytics for management, responding to customer or stakeholder inquiries on account matters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Finance with hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
  • Effective Customer Service and Communication skills to manage internal and external inquiries in a professional manner.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications or ongoing studies (e.g., CPA track) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
