About The Role
As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for building strong client relationships, ensuring at least 95% account retention, and driving business growth. This includes managing client needs, coordinating claims and endorsements, delivering accurate reports, and promoting the Gallagher brand. You will also identify new business opportunities, oversee administrative tasks, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies that align with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and Client Success Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers and clients, ensuring at least 95% account retention and promoting the Gallagher brand.
- Conduct professional negotiations, presentations, and reporting to clients and insurers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards.
- Provide timely coordination for claims approvals, endorsements, service requests, and regular reporting, while ensuring seamless transitions for newly acquired clients.
- Identify new business opportunities, anticipate client needs, and deliver responsive proposals supported by benchmarking and utilisation analyses.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with team members for account management, timely collection of commissions, and regular updates to Gallagher's production reporting platform.
- Participate in industry events, research potential customers, and contribute to business development initiatives to enhance market presence and client satisfaction.
Administration
- Deliver accurate information to partners for efficient service delivery and ensure timely follow-ups on endorsements, billings, and proposals.
- Handle client inquiries, coordinate with insurers, and ensure compliance with regulatory mandates, including KYC, Data Privacy Act, and AMLA requirements.
- Present strategies, budgets, and sales reports to management, while maintaining proper documentation in shared drives for institutional memory.
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to develop business strategies, source new opportunities, and improve business approaches through market analysis.
Client Success Indicators
- Achieve sales targets, ensure profitability, and strengthen client relationships to enhance Gallagher's market presence.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management/Marketing or any related field
- 5-up years of Insurance Brokerage experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good project and time management skills
- Knowledge of business and management principles
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity
