We are seeking an organized, detail-driven Intermediate Accounts Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager and operating during daytime business hours, you will facilitate end-to-end franchise invoice processing, manage inventory and stock-related accounts payable, perform bank reconciliations, maintain credit control workflows, and deliver clerical and accounting support to the overall Finance team.
Your Impact
- Invoicing & Cash Applications: Execute daily bank reconciliations, match customer receipts with franchisee invoices via SharePoint, and handle national client invoicing cycles for regional portfolios.
- Credit Control & Weekly Disbursements: Process weekly franchisee payments, conduct weekly debtor reviews alongside the Commercial Finance Manager, and complete weekly/monthly supplier reconciliations and disbursements.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Collate franchisee purchase orders, generate POs in Xero, manage stock dispatches, reconcile stock balances across Unleashed, and handle stock-related invoicing and escalations.
- Month-End Reporting & Financial Support: Prepare and post accrual and prepayment journals, maintain updated schedules, assist with Business Activity Statement (BAS) submissions, and support monthly contra payment processing.
What You Bring
- The Experience:2 to 4 years of solid experience in accounts administration, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, or business operations.
- Software Competency: Proficiency in cloud accounting platforms (Xero), inventory management systems (Unleashed), Microsoft SharePoint, and advanced Excel skills.
- Accounting Acumen: Strong practical understanding of bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processes, inventory controls, journal entries, and statutory compliance (GST/BAS basics).
- Core Competencies: Keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and superior written and verbal English communication skills.
