Job Summary
Support accounting operations by preparing financial documents, performing reconciliations, verifying expenses, and assisting in report preparation to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journals, invoices, and payment vouchers to maintain accurate financial records
- Enter financial and administrative data into relevant systems to support accounting processes
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and generate monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy of accounts
- Check and verify expense claims for compliance and accuracy before processing payments
- Assist analysts in creating PowerPoint presentations and compiling reports to support financial analysis
- Execute other accounting functions and provide administrative support to maintain smooth operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in finance, accountancy, or equivalent qualification (current ACCA students accepted)
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to managing accounting tasks
- Effective communication skills to collaborate and report within the team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for document preparation and data analysis
