Accounting Tester

Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and test accounting transactions to ensure accurate general ledger postings and compliance with financial regulations.
• Conductend-to-end testingof core financial workflows including loans, deposits, payments, and reconciliations.
• Develop and execute test scripts for accounting modules and financial reporting features.
• Identify system issues, document findings, and coordinate with developers or business analysts for resolution.
• Participate inUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)and support validation of financial data accuracy.
• Uphold internal controls and compliance requirements during all phases of testing.
• Collaborate closely with the Accounting Head to ensure system accuracy aligns with financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
