Job Description

  • Manages overall operations and performance of the accounting team, including supervision of billing, collections, and disbursements.
  • Reviews sales and purchasing documents (POs, BOM, contracts, commissions) and ensures completeness and accuracy before management approval.
  • Handles fund transfers, check preparation, and payments to local and foreign principals, including tax validation and remittance processing.
  • Coordinates with Sales, Management, and foreign principals on billing, collections, maintenance renewals, and transaction requirements.
  • Oversees payroll processing, government benefits remittances, and preparation of related reports and employee tax documents.
  • Supervises the preparation and transmission of accounting records to outsourced accountants and reviews financial statements for accuracy.
  • Manages tax compliance, BIR filings, and coordinates with auditors and legal counsel on assessments and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates with banks for account maintenance, investments, foreign exchange transactions, and documentation.
  • Prepares periodic financial and operational reports such as cash position, AR/AP updates, and financial statement presentations.
  • Ensures proper implementation of accounting policies, commission payouts, and supports budgeting and special accounting projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related Business course
  • CPA is an advantage but not required
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team effectively.
  • High level of integrity and ethics in handling financial matters.
