Main Function
The Accounting System Consultant serves as a project implementor and development advisor for MCFrame GA, ensuring that accounting systems are properly designed, compliant, and aligned with best practices in financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate client accounting processes and workflows to design optimal system configurations
- Assess accounting software against ideal accounting data flow, internal controls, and reporting standards
- Ensure system compliance with BIR-CAS (Bureau of Internal Revenue – Computerized Accounting System) requirements
- Lead and execute system implementation, configuration, and deployment in client environments
- Collaborate with the development team by providing technical accounting guidance for system enhancements and customizations
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance support
- Provide post-implementation support and assist in resolving client issues
- Consolidate, monitor, and report customer support concerns and resolutions on a monthly basis
- Prepare documentation, user guides, and training materials as needed
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, or related field
- CPA license is an advantage but not required
- Experience using any accounting system or ERP (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business processes
- Knowledge of BIR-CAS compliance is an advantage
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred / Advantageous Skills
- Experience in system implementation or process improvement projects
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting system integration
- Microsoft or PhilNITS certifications are a plus
