Job Description

Responsibilities

The General Accounting Supervisor's responsibility revolves around the day-to-day activities and operations of the general accounting (except AP) functions to generate Financial Statements. The position objective is to produce accurate and reliable balances of general ledger (GL) accounts in the balance sheet and income statement, maintains strong relationship with other departments in the organization like HR, Admin, IT, Warehouse, Purchasing, Finance, Treasury, and Operations Departments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and managing month-end/year-end closing
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
