Accounting Supervisor

Role Description The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Plaridel. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including supervision of accounting staff, review of journal entries, monitoring of accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings. The Accounting Supervisor prepares and reviews financial reports, assists in month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations. The role also supports budgeting and forecasting, coordinates with internal and external auditors, and recommends process improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency. Collaboration with other departments is essential to resolve accounting issues, support management decisions, and maintain timely, accurate financial information.
Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience supervising or leading accounting staff, including workload planning, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with strong skills in Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field; CPA certification is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Plaridel and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
