Job Description

Supervise accounting staff to ensure accurate consolidation of reports
Manage vessel cash flow, fund monitoring, and cost control
Oversee accounts payable, ledgers, and purchase orders
Prepare variance analysis comparing actual vs. budget
Deliver timely financial and management reports to stakeholders
Coordinate with auditors to meet regulatory compliance
Lead BPO accounting for port and crew disbursements, including quality checks
Handle queries and clarifications from clients and agents
Ensure proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Recommend process improvements through continuous review of procedures

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Supervisor should have:

A Degree in Finance/Accounting accounting certifications preferred
At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience vessel/shipmanagement exposure is a plus
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong analytical ability and able to work under pressure
