Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Supervisor to support our finance team in managing budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and cash flow activities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the development and monitoring of financial strategies to help ensure the company's financial health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and development of the company's annual & monthly budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This includes reviewing and tracking budget performance and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Forecasting: Support the team in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts. Analyze trends in revenue and expenses to predict future financial outcomes and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure they align with company budgets and operational needs. Assist in reconciling inventory and report discrepancies or issues with stock levels.
  • Cash Flow Management: Assist in managing day-to-day cash flow, including tracking incoming and outgoing funds. Help prepare reports to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and make recommendations for improving cash flow efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, summarizing key financial metrics, trends, and potential risks. Provide clear and actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis: Use financial software and spreadsheets to track financial data, analyze trends, and provide regular updates on key financial indicators.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all financial documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Assist with audits when necessary.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as operations and sales, to gather necessary financial data and support decision-making processes.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other accounting-related tasks or duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Amenable to work onsite in Cubao, Quezon City.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in audit.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
