Accounting Supervisor

Role Description The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. This role supervises accounting staff, reviews journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger postings, and ensures timely preparation of financial reports. The Accounting Supervisor monitors compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, supports month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinates with internal and external auditors as needed. The role also involves analyzing financial data to support management decisions, improving accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with experience in financial management within a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and analysis of periodic reports.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related systems, with the ability to optimize and troubleshoot accounting processes.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in supervisory or senior accounting roles, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal stakeholders and external partners.
