Accounting Supervisor

The Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP) is a non-stock, non-profit collective management organization dedicated to protecting the rights of Filipino music creators. We license the public use of music and ensure that royalties are collected and fairly distributed to composers, authors, and publishers.

FILSCAP is looking for a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor.

In this role, you will support the Accounting Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of key financial processes, including disbursements, billing and collections, royalty monitoring, payroll support, and financial reporting. You will supervise accounting staff, review financial transactions, monitor receivables and cash flow, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

• Assist the Accounting Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting tasks.
• Review and verify invoices, payment requests, vouchers, billing documents, and other financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and accounts receivable to support sound financial management.
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial reports and financial statements.
• Track and monitor royalty transactions from billing and collection through distribution.
• Assist in payroll processing, employee incentives, and other confidential financial matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including licensees, members, auditors, and banking institutions, on accounting-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Must be a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting systems or financial management software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in a non-stock/non-profit organization is an advantage.
