Role Description The Accounting Supervisor – Export is a full-time, on-site role based in Plaridel. This role oversees all export-related accounting activities, including the accurate recording of sales, costs, and related transactions in compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The Accounting Supervisor monitors export billing, collections, and payment applications, and ensures timely preparation of invoices, credit notes, and supporting documentation. The role reviews account reconciliations, coordinates with logistics, sales, and treasury teams on export shipments and payments, and prepares regular reports on export revenue, margins, and outstanding accounts. The Accounting Supervisor also helps improve accounting processes, supports audits, mentors accounting staff, and assists in implementing system enhancements and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in general accounting, export accounting, and financial reporting, with experience handling invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting systems/ERPs and MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process tracking.
  • Knowledge of export documentation, basic customs and trade regulations, and coordination with logistics and banking partners.
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all transactions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding junior staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business field; CPA license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role within accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or export-oriented organization.
