Position Purpose
To support the Accounting and Finance Manager in carrying out his duties of monitoring accounts payable, accounts
receivable, cash transactions, and government compliances of the company. Responsible for the proper application of
accounting principles and procedures during transaction analysis.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Financial Operation
- Overseeing day to day accounting activities of the company * Checking of all accounting documents * Computes and encodes all month-end adjusting entries to Peachtree * Prepares schedule of Financial Statements of the company * Monitor Dealers credit term and credit limit
Tax* Supervise encoding of both output and input vat to BIR Relief System Program as attachment
during filing of BIR. Validates accuracy of data on revenues. * Preparing of monthly and quarterly VAT payable computations * Filing of returns in eBIR Forms * Review of BIR Form - Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source

- Cash Position Report * Vat Payable * Schedule of Financial Statement
Others * Adding of customer and vendor in the accounting system
- Adding of Inventory code in the accounting system
- As maybe assigned by Finance Manager * Participation with audit and preparation of reports needed in relation to cash and receivables
Scope & Magnitude (Interface with other departments & external contacts)
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field (common requirement).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
Experience
25+ years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on general accounting work.
Supervisory experience with ability to manage a small team of accounting staff.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong grasp of Philippine accounting standards, general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance (BIR/SEC).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero) plus Excel skills.
Leadership, organization, and communication skills to guide staff, coordinate with other departments, and support month-end/period closings.
