Accounting Supervisor

Role Description The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Parqal Mall, Parañaque. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries, monitoring account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial reports. The Accounting Supervisor will manage the accounting team's workload, support month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. The role includes coordinating with internal departments and external partners, addressing audit requirements, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Preferably with experience in Freight Forwarding
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience in inventory management and cost accounting is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable Familiarity with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements Strong organizational and time- management abilities.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis is essential..Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
