Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor (CPA) to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The role is responsible for supervising the accounting team, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting financial planning and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with strong leadership skills and solid experience in general accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Audit Management
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
- Identify risks and recommend process improvements.
Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and tax laws.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Support business planning and financial decision-making.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain proper financial controls and governance standards.
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Streamline accounting processes for efficiency.
Record Management
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active PRC license.
- 35 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
- 12 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of BIR, SEC, and Philippine regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
