Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a local construction company in their search for an Accounting Supervisor based in Pasig City.

Salary Range: 30,000 - 50,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Pasig City

The role

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor who will help manage the company's financial records and support the Accounting Head. This role involves handling daily accounting operations, supervising the team, and ensuring reports and tax filings are accurate and on time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Closing
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Keep the General Ledger updated and review expense accounts.
  • Prepare and review financial statement schedules, including:
    • Accruals, pre-payments, fixed assets, and lapsing schedules.
    • Balance Sheet account schedules and bank reconciliations.
  • Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare VAT remittances (input and output).
  • Handle withholding tax remittances (compensation and EWT).
  • Payroll & Contributions Audit
  • Audit regular and weekly payrolls.
  • Review final pay computations and statutory contributions (SSS, PHIC, HDMF).
  • Check and post journal entries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Cost & Project Accounting
  • Audit landed costs and post adjustments if needed.
  • Prepare project-specific reports.
  • Supervision & Team Support
  • Review and post journal entries.
  • Help the Accounting Head coach and mentor team members.
  • Monitor employee cash advances before processing new requests.
  • Manual Bookkeeping & ISO Compliance
  • Encode entries into manual books of accounts.
  • Monitor ISO schedules and serve as an ISO auditee.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the company.
What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting roles with team supervision.
  • Strong background in auditing, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
