Job Summary
Accounting Senior Associate is a mid-level management position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures and policies to comply with regulations and company standards.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision making.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Proficient in XERO application.
