Accounting Supervisor / Assistant Manager (Travel Industry)

About The Position
We are hiring an Accounting Supervisor / Assistant Manager to support accounting operations and financial reporting within our travel and tours business. The ideal candidate has experience in the travel industry and possesses strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge.
Key Duties
- Support accounting leadership in daily finance operations
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- Handle financial reporting and analysis
- Manage foreign currency transactions and exchange conversions
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and statutory requirements
- Assist in improving accounting controls and operational workflows
- Mentor and supervise accounting team members as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course
- CPA is an advantage
- Experience in a travel agency or travel management company is required
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with supervisory exposure preferred
- Strong technical accounting and analytical capabilities
- Knowledgeable in taxation and BIR compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
