Role Description The Accounting Supervisor role at Abenson is a full-time, on-site position based in Manila. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries, checking account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.

The Accounting Supervisor oversees the preparation of financial statements and reports, supports month-end and year-end closing activities, and helps maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles and practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying variances, and supporting decision-making.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related digital tools used for bookkeeping and reporting.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Experience in supervisory or senior accounting roles, preferably in retail or similar high-volume environments.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train, support, and manage team members.
