JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist will work to ensure all billing & collections, AR, and Treasury functions of the company are carried out well. They will be involved in all aspects of accounting, including financial accounting, compliance, and other related duties as assigned. As someone in a senior role, the employee must also act as team lead of accounting analysts to ensure the department's duties are carried out while mentoring junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly AR Aging report and review Statements of Account (SoA) for uncollected dues and receivable balances
- Identify, monitor, and help collect overdue and key accounts
- Ensure proper controls are in place for managing credit risk
- Ensure the availability of resources to carry out B&C and AP functions
- Oversee the processing and accounting of collections/incoming payments
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation of book balances
- Prepare daily Inflow Projection reports and periodic cash flow statements
- Ensure ga ood working setup with banks and relevant bank facilities
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective and efficient working capital management
- Process improvement
- Perform and lead ad-hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related course
- At least three years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Applications
- Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Can work on-site 5 days/week in Mandaluyong City
- Can communicate effectively and efficiently
- SAP Business One required
Salary: Php 35,000 - Php 45,000
