Role Description The Accounting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasay. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial records, including daily journal entries and periodic financial statements. The Accounting Specialist will manage accounting software entries, process invoices, monitor expenses, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting and financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The individual will collaborate with other departments to provide timely financial information and support audits and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and experience preparing and interpreting Financial Statements.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and accurate handling of Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting decision-making.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic taxation and local regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Pasay and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
