Lead AR, AP, and Financial Reporting in Property Management

The Accounting Specialist role is designed for professionals with strong AR/AP and reporting experience who can confidently manage client interactions. You will take ownership of financial processes while representing accounting insights to stakeholders, with long-term career progression through Emapta.

Job Overview

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift, weekends off

Work Setup: Hybrid, Cebu

Salary: PHP 45,000.00 - PHP 65,000.00

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3-5+ years of extensive accounting experience covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Proven client-facing experience with the ability to manage relationships and communicate financial information clearly
  • Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes with strong ownership and accountability
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or leading accounting processes or small teams
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and accounting principles
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with confidence in client interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client requests in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, HOA accounting, or real estate finance
  • Exposure to US accounting practices or working with international clients
  • Background in leadership, team mentoring, or process ownership roles

Your Daily Tasks

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, ledgers, and financial reports
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice validation, payment processing, and collections
  • Assist in monthly close activities, accruals, and reconciliation processes to maintain financial accuracy
  • Identify discrepancies in financial statements and resolve issues proactively

Client-Facing & Relationship Management

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing financial updates
  • Translate financial data into clear, client-friendly explanations to support decision-making
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with property owners, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Manage client expectations and ensure timely resolution of requests

Subject Matter Expertise & Operational Support

  • Serve as an SME in accounting processes and property financial operations, supporting both clients and internal teams
  • Provide guidance on accounting workflows, billing processes, and financial documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and service delivery

Administrative & Process Coordination

  • Maintain organized financial records, vendor documentation, and compliance-related files
  • Support onboarding and setup of vendor accounts and billing structures
  • Ensure all financial documentation aligns with regulatory and company standards
