Accounting Section Head (Forex)

The position is primarily responsible for overseeing revenue accounting for forex and stablecoins, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting in compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves revenue transactions, reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper financial reporting.
• Supervises daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation activities and oversees the preparation of revenue reports, financial schedules, and management reports.
• Analyzes revenue trends, foreign exchange gains/losses, account variances, and operational exceptions, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Leads, mentors, and evaluates team members, supporting their development, performance, and overall productivity.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve revenue-related issues, improve processes, and supports other business and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related accounting field; preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of revenue accounting, reconciliations, foreign exchange transactions, and stablecoin operations.
