Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight - Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are prepared accurately and on time.

General Ledger Management - Oversee general ledger functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting - Prepare the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts to support organizational goals.

Compliance - Ensure all accounting activities adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), local laws, internal policies, and BIR regulations.

Reporting - Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses for management to support operational and strategic decision-making. This also includes preparation and submission of reports to BIR

Staff Supervision and Support

  • Review and monitor the work of junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on accounting processes and best practices to support professional development and performance.

Process Improvement - Evaluate and streamline internal controls and bookkeeping procedures to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen financial controls.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is an advantage but not required.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to reviewing or coordinating the work of junior staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, spreadsheet applications, and accounting systems.
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, financial reporting standards, BIR compliance and taxation, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to start immediately and willing to work onsite (Makati)
