The role is to review the recording of daily transactions and to help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Posts financial transactions in SAP.
- Prepares and/or updates monthly supporting schedules and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
- Checks all intercompany transactions as necessary.
- Assists in the preparation of financial reports.
- Assists in preparing financial reports as required by any government agency.
- Coordinates with other department personnel as needed, e.g., Purchasing, Payroll, IT, Human Resource, etc.
- Performs ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
- With a degree in accounting/accountancy or a similar course
- A CPA - preferred but not required
- With 1-2 years of experience in areas or similar areas such as Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Audit
- Has good to excellent communication skills in English and local vernacular
- Has an experience in using QuickBooks Online and SAP - preferred
- Amenable to work on shifting schedules, PST and PH time - required
- Amenable to work overtime, if necessary
- Highly trainable
- Able to work with minimal supervision
