What is this role about

This role is responsible for preparing the record under the journal entries and accounts from the Finance Department. You will be responsible for reconciling General Ledger & Subsidiary Ledger to ensure reports were tallied and accurate in preparation for the data needed for the company's retail station segment of the business.

What will YOU do
1. Checks the activities of the Daily Sales Report (DSR) Department to obtain the Daily Collection Data.
2. Reports and analyzes data from Accounts Receivable (AR).
3. Monitors the Accounts Payable (AP) Reconciliation, Recording of Adjustments, and Reporting.
4. Prepares Monthly International Financial System (IFS) Report & Schedules.
5. Reviews Final Bank Reconciliation per station.
6. Reconcile General Ledger & Subsidiary Ledger to ensure reports are tally in preparation for the monthly reporting
7. Rechecks all the output of the General Ledger team.

What will YOU need

    • Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, or other related courses
    • At least 1 year of experience in the accounting field, preferably from the oil and gas or the retail industry
    • Adept and knowledgeable on the applications of accounting principles and concepts
    • Must be a critical thinker and keen to details
    • Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations) and Microsoft Office Package
    • Familiarity with the Oracle Netsuite is an advantage
