Job Description

The position is responsible primarily in the accurate and timely release of the intermediaries commission payment, accurate and within the scheduled payout of CPC, booking of adjustments as well as marrying of payments to ensure that the intermediaries statement of accounts (SOA) are updated at all times. Likewise, it is responsible in monitoring and timely disposition of the Unapplied Bank Payments (UBCs) and credit balances in the SOA by closely coordinating with Credit & Control Section. Also, the position aims to support the BPIMS Branches in any accounting related concern by coordinating with the Corporate and Financial Planning & Control Section.

Financial

  • Maintain the general and admin expenses (GAE) as well as Capex spend of the Section within the approved budget
  • Ensure that the intermediaries commissions and CPC are correctly processed and paid on time.

Customer

  • Customer satisfaction through timely and accurate sending of Commission statement after commission crediting.
  • Ensure that requests for adjustment related to premium receivables as well as other premium-related accounts are posted on time.
  • Ensure that all reports related to commission expense are prepared accurately and submitted to the stakeholders in accordance with the set TAT.

Internal Process

  • Monitor and Update CABMs Regulations and Guidelines
  • Review existing processes to identify possible areas for automation
  • Coordinate with the IT resource requirement, SR filing, etc. of the proposed automation
  • Ensure compliance with the Companys policies as well as Units regulations and guidelines.

Learning And Development/Innovation

  • Develop and monitor the training plan of direct reports.
  • Monitor to ensure that employees will achieve the 100% attendance on all identified training
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the trainings attended
  • Continuous coaching and mentoring
  • College degree, preferably business course major in Accountancy
  • Is a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT (CPA)
  • Knowledgeable in accounting and taxation.
  • Has the ability to focus on satisfying internal and external customer needs and with service quality mindset.
  • Has the ability to provide goals and direction as well as to develop and lead subordinates.
  • Coaches to improve performance of the team.
  • Takes and initiates actions to achieve goals beyond what is required. Seeks new ways of doing things.
  • Proactively works with individuals within the group and from other functions or teams to achieve own and groups goals. Creates effective working relationships.
