Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Philippines - Pampanga

Schedule: Morning shift

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate coding and data entry of daily invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner and in accordance with weekly team targets and priorities
  • Working with authorised persons to maintain vendor records and enforcing firm policy in relation to new vendors and vendor changes
  • Manage Workday Help support requests to ensure timely responses to queries
  • Resolve supplier account discrepancies by investigating documentation, liaising with suppliers, issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments
  • Assisting with credit card reconciliations
  • Understanding, processing recoverable costs from the clients, coordinating with respective office managers and business cost centres owners for timely submission. Maintaining monthly reconciliation of the costs by the RSM offices.
  • Monitoring of common email inbox for timely response and queries
  • Assisting in bank reconciliation process of multiple bank accounts, accounting of receipts to correct customer accounts in a separate system (MYOB)
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable control account with customer accounts and working effectively to resolve variances
  • Accounting journals for month end and ad hoc adjustments
  • Assisting senior accountants with month end activities
  • Cross-skilling across other areas within Group Finance and to provide backup support for processes during periods of absence
  • Share knowledge with team members through effective communication
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; and
  • Assist with other Group Finance activities when required.

Qualification and requirements:

Education Requirements:

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

Essential

  • Experienced working in a similar role for at least 5 years
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exposure to working across finance streams of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting principals
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving and query resolution skills

Desirable

  • Exposure to Workday, MYOB.
  • Exposure to Australian based companies

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related
  • Experienced working in a similar role for at least 5 years
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exposure to working across finance streams of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
