TGG Way Accounting Manager

Location: Fully Remote working for US-Based Clients

TGG Accounting is growing, and we're looking for an Accounting Manager to join our remote team.

The Accounting Manager (AM) is an expert responsible for overseeing financial accounting and transaction processing. They serve as ambassadors of TGG Way and US GAAP accounting standards. Accounting Managers provide 100% accurate and complete financial statements to Controllers. They play a key role in training and mentoring staff (both internal and external) on internal controls, systems, and processes following the TGG Way.

Additionally, Accounting Managers act as a bridge between TGG and the client, ensuring continuous communication, implementing processes, addressing client needs, and relaying key information to other team members.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Core Accounting

  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support the month-end close process following established checklists
  • Review P&L and balance sheet for accuracy before submission to the Controller
  • Maintain organized supporting documentation and workpapers

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Perform basic variance analysis and flag inconsistencies
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial reports and schedules

Accounting Operations

  • Review AP, AR, and credit card reconciliations
  • Support payroll processing and review prior to submission
  • Maintain and review the chart of accounts
  • Assist with recurring weekly and monthly accounting processes

Team Support & Review

  • Review work prepared by junior accountants or bookkeepers
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and basic training as needed
  • Ensure data accuracy and adherence to internal processes

Client & Internal Collaboration

  • Communicate with internal team members regarding open items and deadlines
  • Support client requests and questions under Controller supervision
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate recommendations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients and exposure to U.S. GAAP
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or NetSuite (preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, data organization, basic analysis)
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Accounting or Finance degree
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Can work US Timezone schedules (such as PST, EST)

Compensation & Benefits

  • USD 2,2003,000 per month, based on experience

Notes:

This position is to join us as Independent Contractor

Payment after 90 days will be based on hours worked (can be 8 or 4 hours per day)

Working Equipment to start is required

PTO before 90 days will be taken as unpaid unless it's a holiday or sick leave
