Accounting Manager

Lead financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance to ensure accurate and timely financial management. Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive process improvements. Lead and develop the accounting team while partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial performance and controls.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead monthly, year-end, and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely close.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules.
• Analyze results, trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decisions.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, inventory, sales, and COGS accounting.
• Maintain effective accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements for greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Budgeting & Business Partnering

• Support budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Partner with management and operations on performance, risks, opportunities, and ad-hoc analysis.

Audit & Compliance

• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and accounting requirements.
• Stay current with accounting standards and regulations.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Promote accuracy, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Background in retail, FMCG, or distribution industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
