Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calamba. This role oversees the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant accounting standards, and timely reporting to management and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising journal entry posting, managing the general ledger, monitoring fixed assets and depreciation schedules, and coordinating month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accounting Manager will also analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, while identifying process improvements and internal control enhancements. The role includes leading and mentoring the accounting team, collaborating with other departments, and supporting audits and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial reporting expertise, including the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements.
  • Proficiency in core accounting operations such as journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
  • Solid finance and analytical skills to interpret data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience managing fixed assets, including asset tracking, capitalization, and depreciation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory accounting role, preferably within diversified or multi-entity organizations.
  • Competence with accounting software and ERP systems, and strong proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
