Accounting Manager

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our Cebu Accounting team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who combines strong technical expertise with people leadership and a solid understanding of accounting reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Lead accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and records.

Tax Compliance

• Manage BIR filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, and income taxes, and coordinate tax audits.

Internal Controls

• Strengthen accounting policies, controls, and processes to improve efficiency and compliance.

Accounting Systems

• Oversee ERP and accounting systems to maintain reliable financial data and reporting.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while driving accountability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of BIR compliance and tax audit management.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting/ERP systems such as SAP or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
