You'll be responsible for reviewing and presenting financial data to support critical business decisions. The role involves overseeing accounting procedures, preparing forecasts, budgets, costing, and risk analysis. The Management Accountant will also be a business partner for operational requirements and participate in evaluating various sales information and cash flows.
Key Responsibilities
Review and present financial data analysis to support business decisions.
Oversee accounting procedures and ensure compliance with internal control policies.
Prepare forecasts, budgets, costing reports, and risk analysis.
Conduct business analysis to evaluate financial data affecting management decisions.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial and operational data.
Perform product costing and profitability analysis.
Generate monthly gross profit reports, top customer/product analysis, and breakeven studies.
Reconcile inventory and general ledger balances, and prepare adjusted reports.
Coordinate with departments for annual budget preparation and monitoring.
Support marketing programs with cost-benefit analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify tax implications of business plans.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, evaluate performance, and recommend manpower needs.
Collaborate with other departments for process improvements and financial support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (CPA is a plus).
Additional certifications are a bonus.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Skills and Attributes
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Work under pressure with minimum supervision
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
Knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate finance.
