The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, core focus of the role is to oversee the controlling function for Philippines, by leading and working closely with the in-country finance team in managing daily operations, internal controls, and other ad-hoc assignments. In supporting seamless finance operations for this region, the accounting Manager will work closely with operational teams, tax agents, auditors and local banks to ensure finance activities are being executed efficiently and effectively, maintaining strong controls and adherence to accounting policies. The incumbent is also expected to drive standardization and process optimization, ensure best practices.
Key Accountabilities And Performance Indicators Include
- Manage full financial operations and reporting, ensuring accuracy in SAP monthly close, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, journal adjustments, deferred revenue, and financial consolidation.
- Prepare and finalize corporate financial reports, provide data-driven insights to support business decisions, and ensure compliance with internal controls and certification standards.
- Lead annual audits, tax schedules, and Year-End Tax Package preparation; coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, banks, and authorities to ensure statutory compliance and regulatory filings.
- Strengthen and optimize internal controls, enhance financial processes and automation, and support transfer pricing compliance with global regulations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align financial reporting with operational needs and ensure efficient governance.
- Provide leadership to the finance team and support ad hoc projects and additional tasks as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent; professional qualifications (CPA, Chartered Accountant, MBA) preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in financial accounting and/or taxation, including leadership and peoplemanagement responsibilities; Big 4 experience and strong technical skills desirable.
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices is an advantage; strong understanding of corporate reporting, taxation, and transfer pricing.
- Hands-on, businessoriented approach with strong analytical, problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal capability.
- Demonstrates perseverance, discipline, flexibility, agility, high ethics, integrity, initiative, empathy, teamwork, resourcefulness, and a strong cando attitude suited for fastpaced environments.
