Healthway QualiMed Manila, formerly the University Physicians Medical Center (UPMC) and QualiMed Manila, is the first stand-alone day surgery center of the Healthway Medical Network (HMN). It is a private outpatient facility that includes multi-specialty clinics, an ambulatory surgical center, a tertiary laboratory, diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine services, a heart station, an industrial clinic, an IV chemotherapy unit, a physical rehabilitation unit, and a pharmacy.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Manila. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supervising all activities of the Department to meet the Department's goals. preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing journal entries, overseeing fixed assets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Other tasks include monitoring compliance with financial regulations, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and supporting the finance team with strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and related fields
• Certified Public Accountant
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire financial reporting cycle, including the other interrelated cycles of inventory and accounts receivable.
• Knowledgeable on basic regulatory requirements of government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission, Local Government Unit, and other government agencies.
• Experience in a computer-based Accounting Information System
• At least three (4) years of work experience as an Accounting Supervisor from a reputable company or business establishment
