TGC Coffee Roastery Inc. is the company behind Good Cup Coffee, a Cebu-born specialty coffee brand with cafés, an academy, a roastery, and wholesale partners across the Philippines. As the Good Cup group grows into multiple companies, we're bringing accounting for TGC and its affiliates under one accountable owner who can keep every entity's books accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.

Role Description

As Accounting Manager, you'll lead end-to-end accounting operations for TGC Coffee Roastery Inc. and its affiliated companies. You'll report to the Head of Finance & Accounting and work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Leadership to make sure every entry, every reconciliation, and every filing is complete, on time, and on standard. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thinks in closing calendars, reconciliations, BIR deadlines, and clean audit trails.

What You'll Do

• Run day-to-day AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations for TGC and each of its affiliates
• Record, bill, and reconcile intercompany transactions so balances between group companies always tie out
• Maintain accurate, real-time records in Odoo ERP and enforce internal controls across all entities
• Deliver month-end close within 5 business days and year-end close for each entity
• Keep every company fully compliant with BIR, PFRS, and SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG remittances, with zero penalties
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per entity, plus variance analyses and group management reports
• Lead external audits and keep each entity free of material audit findings
• Supervise and coach the Accounting Associates into accountable, standards-driven professionals
• Document SOPs and tighten workflows so the system scales with the group

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Proven experience handling the books of more than one company, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine taxation (BIR), PFRS, and statutory compliance
• Track record leading month-end close and delivering clean, audit-ready financial statements
• Hands-on ERP experience (Odoo preferred; SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar acceptable)
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills: pivot tables, lookups, structured workbooks

Nice-to-Haves

• CPA license
• Experience in F&B, retail, manufacturing, or multi-location operations
• Exposure to inventory valuation, cost accounting, and supply chain finance
• Experience with group or consolidated reporting
• Experience building accounting SOPs and controls in a growing company

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range 40,000 - 50,000 PHP
