We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who embodies integrity, leadership, and excellence in both financial and managerial accounting. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the organization's full financial operationsfrom payroll and compliance to budgeting, forecasting, and reportingensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with our mission.
This role requires close coordination with both local and U.S.-based counterparts, so familiarity with international collaboration and cross-cultural communication is key. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's financial sustainability and accountability, directly impacting the lives of the communities we serve.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial and Managerial Accounting
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including payroll, disbursements, budgeting, and compliance.
- Lead monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
- Maintain accurate accounting books for both Philippine and U.S. operations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and standard accounting practices.
Payment, Payroll & Cash Management
- Process payroll, reimbursements, and other payments through online banking and checks.
- Manage cash flow, petty cash, and working fund requests from the U.S. office.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and monitor corporate credit card usage.
Tax Reporting & Compliance
- File and remit BIR returns (Forms 1601EQ/0619E, 1601C, 1702Q/1702-EX).
- Ensure annual submission of books of accounts and audit readiness.
Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise finance processes and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Feathers U.S. finance counterpart and internal stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven insights to guide management decisions.
Qualifications- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional training a plus).
- At least 35 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management (NGO or nonprofit background preferred).
- Proven competence in managerial accounting and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, compliance, and accounting standards.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong coordination and communication skills in a multicultural work environment.
- Willing to work under a hybrid setup twice a week onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa City and twice a week work-from-home for the first two months; thereafter, once a week onsite in Alabang and work-from-home for the remaining days following a four-day workweek schedule (10 hours per day).
Compensation & Benefits- 6-month probationary contract, with potential for renewal or regularization.
