THE ROLE
The Accounting Manager process and oversees all the aspects of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and company objectives. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, the Accounting Manager streamlines accounting processes, improving the team's operational efficiency and aid the team's continued growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead the financial close/reporting, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
- Perform financial statement for the subsidiary
- Support the implementation and compliance monitoring of internal controls as well as assist in the risk assessment for our internal control environment
- Supervise and review Office Manager's work and ensure that month-end/quarter-end/year-end Purchase Order and Billing close procedures are completed accurately and timely
- Participate in the implementation, compliance and monitoring of ASC 842
- Function as the liaison between the subsidiary, parent company and external auditors, handling the scheduling of audits, ensuring necessary audit requested documents are accurately and timely prepared
- Coordinate with the Mexico accounting team to ensure alignment with intercompany transactions and record keeping.
- Perform financial statement analysis, variance analysis, profitability analysis and other ad hoc analysis as needed by the Accounting and Executive Management team
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments following the approved authorization matrix.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information requested by other departments.
- Dedication to continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher with an accounting emphasis
- 5+ years work experience in the accounting field with 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of and ability to interpret and document Philippine GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user
- Analytical skills, detailed oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- CPA license in the Philippines
- 3+ years hands-on experience with QuickBooks
