About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager (CPA) to lead our finance and accounting operations in the travel and tours industry. This role reports directly to the General Manager / Business Unit Manager and Finance Director and plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team of approximately 18 staff members
- Oversee daily accounting operations including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Financial Reporting
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, reportorial requirements, and other statutory obligations
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
- Coordinate with auditors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — required
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Must currently hold or have held a managerial position for at least 1 year
- Strong background in taxation, BIR compliance, and reportorial requirements
- Experience from any industry is welcome
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills
