Accounting Manager – Travel Operations Finance

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager (CPA) to oversee the financial operations of a fast-paced travel and tours organization. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in taxation, financial reporting, and operational accounting, preferably from the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting team composed of approximately 18 finance personnel
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Oversee BIR compliance, tax filings, and statutory reportorial requirements
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense management
- Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and internal departments
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- At least 1 year experience in a managerial role
- Strong background in taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting
- Experience in travel agency, tourism, airline, or hospitality industry is an advantage
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
