Accounting Manager CPA Ortigas

We are seeking a strategic and highly accomplished Accounting Manager to lead the overall financial operations of our company in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. In this role, you will drive accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and precise inventory and cost accounting for a leading provider of quality and sustainable PVC Mouldings.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Closing: Oversee the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; review journal entries and reconciliations; handle month-end/year-end closings and coordinate with external auditors.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting and forecasting; conduct variance analyses on financial performance, cost trends, and profitability to support management decisions.

AP, AR & Treasury Oversight: Supervise disbursements, collections, aging reports, and cash flows; manage banking relationships, loans, trust receipts, and letters of credit.

Inventory & Cost Accounting: Oversee stock movements, adjustments, and product costing (including landed cost computations); lead annual physical inventory cycles and reconciliations.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with BIR, SEC, and other local regulatory bodies; oversee the filing of all tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR, etc.) and liaise with government agencies.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Implement accounting standards to safeguard company assets; identify financial risks; drive automation and maximize the efficiency of the company ERP/accounting systems.

Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and develop the accounting staff; establish clear team goals and KPIs, and ensure balanced workload distribution.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any equivalent field. CPA license is highly preferred.

Experience: At least 5 to 8 years of solid, relevant accounting experience.

Industry Advantage: Background or experience in the manufacturing, construction, or trading industries is a major advantage.

Core Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine tax laws, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Technical Skills: Deeply proficient in modern accounting software, ERP platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Alternate Saturdays (8:00 AM – 12:00 NN)

Salary Range: Open Salary (Competitive package depending on skills, qualifications, and CPA status)
