Key Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight: Lead the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for three distinct business units.
Business Partnership: Act as a financial consultant to the General Managers, offering insights on profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.
Team Leadership: Supervise, develop, and empower an 18-member accounting department to ensure high performance and career growth.
Compliance & Controls: Champion BIR compliance, statutory reporting, and internal audits to safeguard the organization's integrity.
Process Innovation: Drive system enhancements and ERP efficiencies to modernize the finance function.
Qualifications
Education: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
Experience: At least 8–12 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a high-level managerial or leadership capacity.
Industry Savvy: Direct experience in the Travel, Aviation, or Hospitality industry is highly preferred (understanding IATA, BSP, or complex commissions is a plus).
Technical Mastery: Broad, expert-level knowledge of Philippine tax laws (BIR), SEC requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Leadership Style: Proven ability to manage large teams (10+ members) and manage diverse stakeholders at the executive level.
