Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Accounting Manager (CPA) to oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions of a corporate travel organization. The role is ideal for finance professionals with strong tax and compliance expertise and proven experience managing accounting teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting department and supervise a team of approximately 18 employees
- Manage monthly closing activities and financial statement preparation
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, BIR requirements, and statutory obligations
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions
- Develop internal controls and process improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
- At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience
- Must have at least 1 year experience in a managerial role
- Preferably with experience in corporate travel, airline, hospitality, or tourism industries
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems is an advantage
